I'm Aashu. I design and engineer ambitious products.

I build tools for working with AI, creative software, and experiments about how people respond to media.

Working philosophy

I usually begin with the part of a product that keeps making someone stop, guess, or repeat themselves. That tells me more than a long feature list.

I stay close to the code because an idea changes once it has to survive a real interface, real data, and someone using it without an explanation.

Photography

Photography has made me careful about what is actually in front of me. I use the same habit in product work: look longer, remove what is distracting, and notice the choices I keep making without thinking.
