I'm Aashu. I design and engineer ambitious products.
I build tools for working with AI, creative software, and experiments about how people respond to media.
Selected work
05 projects
Tersa
A terminal coding agent that keeps the model, tools, permissions, and remaining context visible while it works.
Spindle
A local memory layer that helps AI tools carry useful context between sessions without mixing every project and preference together.
Wayside
A voice-first assistant that helps delivery drivers find a bathroom, a short rest, or a safe place to stop without searching through a map while driving.
Rift
A research prototype testing if visual, audio, and response signals can estimate how different viewers may react to the same short video.
Starline
A researched index that helps high school students find internships, understand eligibility, and build a credible application.
Working philosophy
I usually begin with the part of a product that keeps making someone stop, guess, or repeat themselves. That tells me more than a long feature list.
I stay close to the code because an idea changes once it has to survive a real interface, real data, and someone using it without an explanation.

Photography
Photography has made me careful about what is actually in front of me. I use the same habit in product work: look longer, remove what is distracting, and notice the choices I keep making without thinking.
